The Flagstaff Model Railroad Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates under a guiding set of bylaws and responsibilities. Club members represent a wide range of ages, occupations, cultural backgrounds, model railroading experiences, prototype railroad interests and modeling eras. Such diversity is considered a dominant strength of the Club and its membership.
All three layouts (HO, N, and HOn3) are powered by Digitrax digital command control technology.
VISITING THE MOUNTAIN PACIFIC LINES:
The Flagstaff Model Railroad Club maintains a substantial layout inside Building 3 at the Coconino County Fairgrounds (Fort Tuthill). Visitors are invited to the monthly second Saturday Open House and are welcome every Thursday night after 7:00pm. Meetings are informal, and members work on various layout projects, run trains or just socialize. Some nights are reserved for board meetings, clinics, work sessions or operating sessions. Note we cannot guarantee the club will be open on every Thursday evening, so call or email in advance.
LOCATION: See FMRRC Map & Directions under Club Materials
The entrance road to the county fairgrounds is located across from Exit 337 on I-17, along US Route 89A. Exit 337 (Pulliam Airport exit) is only one exit south of the I-17/I-40 interchange in Flagstaff. 35.14272/111.69100.
